Under 2024 har MAFA levererat två träpulversilo med tillhörande skruvlösning till NCC:s asfaltanläggning i Falun med kapacitet att lagra ca 330m³.
Det är en del av deras övergripande satsning på att bli 100% CO2-neutrala och ta kliv mot en hållbar framtid.
Asfalt produktionen är en av de största källorna till utsläpp inom bygg- och anläggningssektorn, men genom att tänka innovativt och tekniskt framåt har NCC hittat nya sätt att minska sin miljöpåverkan. Genom att ersätta olja med träpulver vid uppvärmning av stenmaterial, tar de ett stort kliv mot att minska sina koldioxidutsläpp och öka energieffektiviteten.
Detta arbete påbörjades redan för 10 år sedan, då NCC började använda träpulver i sin asfaltsproduktion. Sedan dess har de fortsatt att investera i tekniska lösningar som inte bara minskar deras CO2-utsläpp, utan också banar väg för andra inom branschen att följa efter.
