MAFA Unik is a robust, Swedish-made silo designed to meet the demands of modern bioenergy management. Manufactured from durable steel plate with an aluminum-zinc coating (Aluzinc), it offers up to three times longer service life compared to galvanized steel silos. The silo is factory-assembled and comes with a 10-year anti-corrosion warranty – a clear testament to its quality and durability.
The silo is designed to streamline the handling of pellets, biofuel, and other biomass. It features a smooth interior, special bolts, and a steep 70° cone, which together ensure excellent discharge and minimize friction. The standard model handles materials with a bulk density of up to 750 kg/m³, but can be adapted for even heavier bioenergy fuels.
MAFA Unik offers several features that make a big difference for all types of bioenergy facilities – from residential boilers and small storage units to large industrial plants. We provide systems for all types of biofuel, including pellets and wood powder. For wood powder, ATEX-compliant filling is available for maximum safety and explosion protection.
