MAFA Big is a Swedish-made silo with a robust construction and high durability, specially designed for industrial materials such as plastic granulate, powders, and other bulk products. The silo is made of durable steel sheet coated with aluminum and zinc, providing a significantly longer lifespan than traditional galvanization. Its smooth interior ensures optimal material discharge, and the standard model can handle bulk materials with a density of up to 750 kg/m³. It can also be adapted for heavier materials and various types of pellets, or wood powder.

MAFA Big is a Swedish-manufactured silo with a robust construction and high durability, designed to meet the demands of modern industry. Made from heavy-duty steel sheet with an aluminum-zinc coating (Aluzinc), it offers up to three times the lifespan of traditional galvanized silos. The silo is factory-assembled and comes with a 10-year warranty against corrosion—a clear mark of quality and long-term reliability.

The smooth interior, specially designed bolts, and 70° steep cone ensure optimal emptying and minimized friction. The standard model is designed for materials with a bulk density of up to 750 kg/m³, but it can easily be reinforced for heavier loads. This makes MAFA Big ideal for storing granules, plastic, powders, pellets, and other high-density materials.

To meet the stringent safety requirements of industrial environments, MAFA Big can be equipped with ATEX-compliant filling solutions for dust-classified materials, ensuring explosion-protected operation. The gentle filling through a long-radius bend and large cyclone also helps preserve the material’s structure and quality.

With a wide range of auger conveyors, discharge equipment, and flexible storage volumes, MAFA Big can be customized to integrate seamlessly into various types of production flows. The result is a versatile, future-proof, and cost-effective solution for industrial bulk storage.
