MAFA Wood Chip Storage is a robust and weather-protected solution for efficient wood chip storage. The silos are available in several sizes – F18, F27, and F33 – making them flexible for both smaller and larger storage needs. Filling is easily managed via the liftable lid or with accessories such as a blow-in hatch. The silos can be connected to spring agitators or chip augers to feed the burner system.

Modular design and flexible installation

MAFA Wood Chip Storage is built from durable Aluzinc and is easily assembled on-site by the customer. The construction consists of sectional steel sheets bolted together, with angle irons at the base and top edge for extra stability. The roof is made up of roof sheets and a roof disc, which are mounted once the frame is in place.

All storages can be connected to spring agitators or chip augers (not included) for efficient delivery of wood chips to the burner.

The storage is easily filled through a liftable lid. As an option, a blow-in hatch can be installed for direct blowing of chips. Both the manhole and the outlet for a spring agitator can be adjusted on-site to suit the installation conditions.
