MAFA XB Bioenergy

MAFA XB is a robust, Swedish-made silo designed for modern bioenergy facilities and industrial bulk storage. The silo is specifically developed for pellets, wood powder, and other heavy biofuels. Manufactured from durable steel plate with an aluminum-zinc coating (Aluzinc), it provides maximum corrosion protection and up to three times longer service life than traditional galvanized steel silos.

The smooth interior, special bolts, and steep cone ensure optimal discharge and minimize friction, preventing crumbling and material separation.

MAFA XB offers several features that make a difference in the daily handling of bioenergy. Cyclone ventilation ensures consistent aeration and reduces condensation, while gentle filling through a long-radius bend and large cyclone preserves the fuel’s structure and quality. For facilities where dust explosion risk is present, MAFA XB can be delivered in an ATEX-compliant version, providing a high level of safety and reliability in demanding bioenergy environments.
