Weather and bird protection is an optional accessory that can be retrofitted to an existing cyclone. The “fingers” are bent at approximately a 35-degree angle, which prevents birds from flying under the cyclone’s roof. They also break up wind and snow, preventing it from accumulating under the roof.
The protection is easily mounted with 2 bolts and nuts that are included, and the only tool needed is a wrench to tighten the protection. Start by loosely fastening one bolt and nut, then slide the protection around, and afterward secure the other bolt and nut. Finally, tighten both nuts.
The protection is made of aluzinc, making it durable and long-lasting.
The protection fits both standard cyclones and flour cyclones, although for the latter, the “fingers” need to be bent out slightly more during installation.
The product consists of 2 halves, 2 bolts, and 2 nuts.
