Installation Instructions:
1. Position the sensor in the desired location.Output, NC = normally closedTurn the adjustment screw clockwise using the supplied screwdriver until it stops. The slot should point towards NC.The lamp lights up when it is unaffected and turns off when it is influenced by material.Output, NO = normally openTurn the adjustment screw counterclockwise using the supplied screwdriver until it stops. The slot should point towards NO.The lamp lights up when it is influenced and turns off when it is unaffected by material.
2. The sensor’s functionality should be checked before installation. Use, for example, a board or pellets to check the sensor’s sensitivity. The sensor should respond at a distance of approximately 5 mm. If this is not the case, the sensor should be adjusted by turning the potentiometer. The potentiometer has 10 turns.
3. Place the sensor in the gland so that the front part of the sensor aligns with the front edge of the gland.Tighten the gland so that the sensor is secured.
