- Gentle Filling Process
The filling pipe enters through the Cyclone, where a special internal design makes the feed or fuel pellets rotate before falling by gravity. This ensures a smooth filling process and prevents damage to the material. - Optimised Ventilation
The Cyclone includes an elevated ventilation outlet that prevents water ingress while allowing internal steam to escape, maintaining optimal storage conditions. - Weather Protection
Equipped with a robust roof and rain shield, the Cyclone is built for exposed environments. For extreme conditions, an optional edge ring can be mounted around the roof for extra protection.

A conventional silo with a filling pipe and vent pipe running down the silo comes with several drawbacks:
- No Internal Ventilation
Heat inside the silo rises to the roof without being evacuated, creating a high risk of condensation and moisture-related issues. - Material Damage During Filling
The incoming material encounters a sharp bend during pneumatic filling, which can damage pellets or feed and make the filling process less efficient.
These design limitations can lead to quality loss, operational inefficiencies, and increased maintenance needs compared to modern silo solutions.
The MAFA UNIK silo features cyclone filling technology, allowing heat inside the silo to rise naturally and be efficiently vented through the Cyclone opening. This ensures optimal storage conditions and reduces the risk of condensation.
