The MAFA Agitator facilitates the emptying of sluggish and aggregating materials in, for example, MAFA Auger Boxes. This solution is particularly useful for specialty or self-produced feed. Agitators are generally not required for factory-produced feed.
A 3-phase worm gear motor slowly rotates a shaft with mounted agitator paddles. The rotation creates movement in the material, making it easier to flow down into the auger.
MAFA agitators can also be retrofitted into existing auger boxes.
