Bucket Elevator

Bucket Elevators – Vertical Material Handling Solutions

Bucket elevators are vertical conveying systems designed to efficiently handle materials such as grain, granules, and powders. They are used in agriculture, food processing, and construction industries to move materials between different levels within production facilities.

Function and Use:
Bucket elevators consist of buckets attached to an endless belt or chain that rotates around head and tail pulleys. Material is fed at the base, picked up by the buckets, and transported vertically to be discharged at the desired level. This method allows gentle and efficient handling of materials with varying bulk densities.

Advantages of Bucket Elevators:

  • High capacity: Handles large volumes, increasing productivity.

  • Space-saving: Vertical design minimizes floor space usage.

  • Gentle handling: Reduces the risk of damage to fragile materials.

  • Adaptability: Can be customized for different materials and heights.

Capacity Examples (at 750 kg/m³):

  • Bucket Elevator E11: 7 m³/h, 5.25 t/h

  • Bucket Elevator T53: 40–80 m³/h, 30–60 t/h

  • Bucket Elevator T54: 140 m³/h, 105 t/h

  • Bucket Elevator T55: 200 m³/h, 150 t/h

  • Bucket Elevator E300: 300 m³/h, 225 t/h
