MAFA Big is a Swedish-made silo with a robust design and high durability. It is manufactured from strong steel plate coated with aluminum and zinc – a material that provides significantly longer service life than traditional galvanization. The silo has a smooth interior for optimal emptying and is designed to handle materials up to 750 kg/m³ as standard, but can be adapted for higher densities. MAFA Big is assembled in our factory and delivered with a 10-year corrosion warranty – a reliable choice for demanding use.

The silo is designed to streamline the handling of grain, feed, and other bulk materials. The smooth interior, special bolts, and steep 70° cone ensure consistent emptying according to the First In – First Out (FIFO) principle, preserving feed quality and minimizing waste. The standard model handles materials with a bulk density of up to 750 kg/m³ but can be reinforced for heavier loads.

MAFA Unik offers several features that make a real difference in everyday farm operations. The reflective coating reduces heat radiation and protects the feed, while cyclone ventilation ensures proper aeration and minimizes condensation. Gentle filling via a long-radius bend and large cyclone preserves the feed’s structure and nutritional content, contributing to better animal health and improved profitability.

With a wide range of auger boxes and flexible storage volumes, MAFA Unik can be tailored to the needs of any farm.
